On January 25, 2006, Moss was arrested at her residence by the United States Secret Service for credit card fraud. On January 26, 2006, Moss appeared before a U.S. magistrate. She was given a trial date of March 5, 2006 and released on a $5,000 Own Recognizance bond. After completing the U.S. Marshals Service's paperwork and signing the bond papers from the probation office, Moss was released.
